Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) - Agriculturalinformation4u

DBT Agriculture: Central and state governments have been implementing many schemes for the welfare and benefit of farmers in India. In addition, the central government has initiated the Direct Benefit Scheme (DBT) for farmers to give the direct benefit of all agricultural schemes to their families. Direct Benefit Transfer or DBT is an attempt to change the subsidy transfer mechanism launched by the Government of India on January 1, 2013. This program aims to transfer subsidies directly to beneficiaries through their bank accounts.

In fact, DBT, which reports to the Department of Agriculture, has been established by the Government of India to benefit farmers with different farming schemes from a single platform. Farmers can reap the benefits of all agricultural schemes from the direct transfer of benefits. Let’s see how farmers can take advantage of all the benefits of agricultural schemes from direct benefit schemes.

All schemes are administered by the Government of India and are only serviced by DBT’s Department of Agriculture, whose main purpose is to send cash directly to the farmer’s account. All the information and details of the farmers can be gathered through this platform so that they can get the benefit of the central and state government schemes. Through dbt web portals, the money is sent directly to the farmer’s account along with the record of all agricultural schemes. Plus, you can take advantage of any government scheme only after registering here. It also gives you all the information about the schemes that are being administered by the state and central government for farmers.

The dbt agriculture portal is different for each state, hence farmers should be aware of the schemes running in their state and apply via the state DBT portal.
