HOW TO GROW AVOCADO FROM SEED IN 8 SIMPLE STEPS

Avocados can be grown from seed, but they may take up to 10 years to produce fruit and are not guaranteed.

Step 1  Seed Preparation:  Remove the seeds without damaging the avocados. 

Step 2  Remove the seed coat: Remove the brown seed coat from the seed. Please be patient as this may take some time.

Step 3 Keep damp in bag Moisten a paper towel and wrap the exposed seeds in the towel. Place in a plastic bag and seal to retain moisture. Store in a cool, dry place for 7-14 days.time.

Step 4  Monitor Rooting After this, check the seeds to see if roots are forming. If not, put it back in vault and check again in a few days. After the roots are formed, you can transfer them

Step 5  Place the seeds into a glass filled with water: Keep the roots in water, but don't let the seeds get wet. Otherwise, the seeds may rot.

Step 6  Transfer to Sunlight: Place in a bright area out of direct sunlight and add water if necessary. A stem will eventually grow from the top of the seed.t.

Step 7  Pruning: When the stem is about 15-20 cm tall, cut it back and remove about half of the stem. This helps stimulate strong healthy growth.

Step 8  Potted: Grow in a glass of water or plant the avocado seed in soil when the small plant reaches 25-30 cm.
